Creative Arts Network
A Focus on the Arts:
WE are a Creative Arts Network School. Students in grades K - 5 receive instruction in visual arts, vocal music, theater and dance by a highly qualified instructor from the Arts Education Branch. We are very lucky to have this program at Parthenia. Kids receive instruction in each discipline for a 10 week cycle.
At the end of the year we conduct our Open House with art and dance program during our Arts Festival. The annual Arts Festival/Open House has blossomed from a simple dance festival into a community event highlighting student art work, student dance, music and even a fashion show from our own student designers. At this event, parents and students participate in various art activities where they can explore their own creativity. This arts festival has become the highlight of the year and extremely well attended. Future plans include vocal and theater performances during this Arts Festival.
